New Zealand High School Representatives Visit Tachibana

On October 22, our school welcomed five guests from New Zealand: the principal and International Director of Kaiapoi High School, the principal and Assistant International Director of Ashburton College, and the Director of JTC New Zealand Ltd.

Students preparing to study abroad in New Zealand from January 2027 introduced themselves to the guests and had the opportunity to hear firsthand about life in New Zealand and ask questions about their upcoming experience. Meeting people connected to their future schools made this a valuable opportunity to learn more about the life that awaits them.

During the school tour, the visiting guests also met other students who were busy preparing for our school festival held on October 23–24. The students used English to explain their activities and share what they were working on, creating opportunities for communication beyond the classroom. We hope that even small experiences like these will encourage our students to embrace new challenges, build friendships, and take their first steps toward a wider world.
