Peace Weekの展示と活動は成功しました

2025年9月に行われた「国際平和デー」に向けて、ピースデー実行委員会は3つの展示を制作し、無事に発表することができました。展示は、中学3年生1名と高校1年生3名の生徒によって制作されました。
　• 最初の展示は、平和に関係する言葉を集めたものです。集めた言葉を使って、オリジナルのデザインを作りました。
　• 二番目の展示は、誰でもできる小さな行動を集めたものです。他の人にやさしさを示すためのアイデアが紹介されています。
　• 三番目の展示は、行動を起こして他の人を助け、戦争を防ごうとした日本の二人の平和活動家を紹介しています。
また、ピースウィークの期間中、実行委員会の生徒たちは、学校のみんなが楽しめる小さな活動やチャレンジも計画しました。内容は、①今年のデザインを使ってiPadやパソコンの背景を変更、②今年のデザインをシールにして生徒に配布、③全校生徒・教職員で協力して千羽鶴を完成させる、の三つです。
また、生徒会や友人のサポートを得ながら、2日間かけて40羽ずつの鶴を25本の糸に通しました。10月24日・25日に開催される橘花祭で展示予定です。

The Peace Day Event committee successfully created three displays for International Day of Peace 2025 in September. The three displays were created by a junior high school third grader and three high school first graders. The three displays included
　• an original design which uses words gathered from other students about what words are associated with peace.
　• The second display is a list of what peace looks like for each student and a collection of small actions each person can do to contribute to peace.
　•The third display is a short research presentation about two Japanese who worked hard to foster peace.

Furthermore, the students created small challenges for the school for each day of the week such as an iPad wallpaper challenge, passing out stickers to classmates and having all students, teachers and staff fold one crane for a 1,000-paper crane display. The Peace week committee, with help from Student Council members and their friends, took 2 days to string 40 cranes into 25 lines. Their work was displayed from September 18th to September 29th. It will be again displayed at the school festival (橘花祭) on October 24th and 25th.
